The Takesumi Bamboo Salt, also known as Takeshio, has been used for centuries in Asia for its numerous benefits as a medicine or food. Unlike ordinary salt, bamboo salt is not acidic. 

100% made in Bali with local sea salt as the main ingredient, this salt is put into green bamboos and burned into a traditional earthen kiln. The firing process eliminates acidity, turning it alkaline, with an average PH of 8 to 10 and gives the salt all its uniqueness: a slightly smoky taste that will enhance and renew your meals.

The practice of firing salt in bamboo imparts it with unusual properties: it helps to detoxify the organs, healing damaged cells, all while stimulating your metabolism.
